For SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2026, the Commission is responsible for conducting the Computer Based Examination (CBE) and declaring the final results and force allocation as per the recruitment scheme. |
| About Recruitment: | The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct an Open Competitive Examination for recruitment to the posts of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), and Secretariat Security Force (SSF), and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR). The recruitment process consists of a Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Medical Examination and Document Verification. A total of 25,487 tentative vacancies have been notified. Candidates must have passed the Matriculation (10th Class) Examination from a recognized Board or University on or before 01 January 2026. The pay scale for all posts is Pay Level 3 (₹21,700–₹69,100). |
